Ata Botanical Garden is the biggest Botanical Garden and Arboretum Park in Turkey. Park is located on 350.000 m2 in the center of Erzurum. It is situated at altitude of 1850 m and has started in 2006. 100000 m2 of landscaping work has been done within the scope of work. In public areas, there are about 500 m2 artificial lake, pedestrian paths, wooden service building, pergola and camellias, benches and seating areas, amphitheatre, wc, parking lots, bridge, rock gardens, jogging areas, fruit garden, grassed surfaces, seasonal flower and tulip demonstration areas, trees and bushes more than 150 which are suitable to grow in terms of bread. Besides, there are about 10 ducks, 2 peacocks, a mini demonstration area showing animals such as goats and sheep in the park and also, there are large open areas, meadows and shady areas under trees in unarranged sides of the park.
