Works are progressing rapidly at the Kanatli Dam Irrigation Project, constructed by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works (DSI) under the Ministry of Forestry and Water Affairs in Elazig, a project long awaited by the local population. 75 percent of the project has been completed, and the remaining works are targeted to be finalized in accordance with the planned schedule.
The Kanatli Dam Irrigation plays a critical role in increasing agricultural productivity by enabling the irrigation of agricultural lands in the region through a modern pressurized pipe irrigation system.
